The variety belongs to the wrinkled pea group with white flowers. Plants are characterized by significant height, reaching 1.67 meters. The fruits are large green pods with large wrinkled seeds of cylindrical shape.

This variety is late-maturing and is intended for the production of green peas at the stage of technical maturity for fresh consumption. In official registers, the Floreta variety is recognized as a synonym for the Alderman variety.
