The variety belongs to the marrow group with wrinkled seeds. Plant height varies from 90–120 cm to over 2 meters. The pods have a pointed shape and a dark green color.
The plant is prone to the formation of "rogue" individuals, known as "rabbit ears" — a genetic mutation historically studied by scientists. The variety was used as a parent form in the creation of other popular varieties and is intended for fresh consumption, canning, and freezing.
