The variety belongs to the early-maturing group with a normal leaf type. The bushes reach a height of 22–24 inches. Each node forms 1–2 pods with medium-sized peas.

The plant possesses genetic resistance to root rots caused by Pythium, leaf and pod Ascochyta blight, and powdery mildew. The variety was developed using traditional breeding methods without the use of GMOs.
