In its youth, the tree has a pyramidal crown, which becomes broad and spreading over the years. The decorative smooth bark peels off in plates, revealing patches of gray, brown, and greenish-white colors. The leaves are bright green, turning a yellow hue in autumn.

Flowering occurs in May with inconspicuous yellow-green flowers. The fruits are spherical infructescences of a brownish-yellow color, which remain on the branches for a long time.

The variety is adapted to urban conditions, including drought, dust, smog, and soil salinization. It is used for landscaping parks, squares, and alleys as a solitary plant, although it requires open space due to its powerful root system.
