The variety features the decoratively exfoliating bark characteristic of the species, with a light underlayer and dark scales. Young shoots and buds have a red or purplish-red color, and light lenticels are visible on the shoots.
The plant tolerates pruning well, including down to old wood, and is suitable for urban landscape conditions, including the presence of hard surfaces. However, the tree does not tolerate sea wind well, and its young branches are prone to breaking.
When planting young trees, support is necessary, and during further growth, it should be taken into account that surface roots are capable of lifting road surfaces.
The right is granted for a limited term: propagation of the variety requires a license from the rights holder.
