Variety description

The variety was selected in 1988 as a seedling of the 'Sieboldii' form. The plant is characterized by extremely slow growth: at 12 years of age, the height of a specimen reaches 35–40 cm, however, under other conditions, the height can be 1–2 m.

The foliage is predominantly scale-like, of rigid structure; in the inner parts of the crown, juvenile needle-like leaves are possible. The variety is resistant to drought, frost, and diseases, tolerates urban conditions well, and can be grown in sun or partial shade.

The plant is suitable for decorating small gardens, rockeries, and alpine slides, as well as for creating single plantings, groups, and hedges.
