The Clarion variety is a type of bottom grass, Kentucky bluegrass. Due to the presence of underground shoots, the variety is capable of forming a dense grass cover, which is characterized by high resistance to mechanical stress.

This variety is selectively oriented for use in specialized lawn mixtures, in particular for sports grounds and functional lawns.
