Variety description

The variety is an intraspecific hybrid of Populus deltoides. The tree crown is of medium spreading, the branches are sufficiently strong but occur infrequently and emerge from the trunk at an angle of 45 degrees. Leaves have a reddish tint upon flushing. Phenologically, the variety is characterized by late bud break and late leaf drop, which is similar to the metrics of the 'Alcinde' variety.

The variety is adapted to various types of alluvial soils, including clay, sandy, and loamy. It exhibits tolerance to a complex of pathogens, such as leaf rust, brown leaf spot, bacterial canker, and aphids. Wood density at the age of two years is 320 kg/m³; later measurements showed good mechanical properties and 'infra-density' indicators.
