The fruits of this variety are characterized as large, aromatic, and of excellent taste. They are suitable for fresh consumption and for various types of industrial processing, including the production of juices, jams, preserves, and pálinka.
The variety matures in mid-July, at approximately the same time as the 'Gönci magyar kajszi' variety. In industrial horticulture, it is included in the list of varieties approved for cultivation under the protected geographical indication for the Gönc region.
The plant is sensitive to late spring frosts. Resistance to diseases such as plum pox virus (sharka) and moniliosis is rated as medium.
