The variety belongs to the mirabelle group and is mid-season. Under Czech conditions, fruit ripening occurs in the second half of August, in some cases starting around August 5.
The fruits are yellow in color and distinguished by good taste qualities. The variety is often used in scientific research as a standard reference when performing genetic identification of plum varieties using SSR-marker analysis.
