The tree is vigorous, with good branching ability and a semi-erect or erect growth habit. The variety is self-sterile and requires pollinator varieties; it is also prone to alternate bearing, making fruit thinning desirable.
The fruits are large, reaching 60 g, and have an oblong-oval shape. The skin is intensely yellow with a bright orange-red blush; the flesh is orange, firm, and juicy, with a sweet-spicy taste. The stone separates well.
The variety has medium resistance of flower buds to winter frosts and shows low susceptibility to the Plum pox virus (sharka).
