The variety has moderate growth and is characterized by late flowering, which reduces the risk of flower damage from spring frosts. The yield of the variety varies from year to year, and fruit ripening occurs in early July.

The fruits have orange-yellow skin with a possible blush and orange flesh that separates well from the pit. They are sensitive to mechanical damage during transport. The variety shows signs of tolerance to phytoplasma causing stone fruit yellows and was historically considered resistant to Monilinia and frost.
