The variety was obtained from sowing seeds of open pollination of the Czech ecotype Mělnická. The tree has medium vigor, reaching a height of 3–4 meters, and is characterized by regular high yields.

The fruits have a yellow-orange skin with a red blush and juicy, sweet, orange-colored flesh. The variety possesses good winter hardiness and increased resistance to adverse weather conditions. Resistance to Monilinia is medium.
