The variety has a very late maturity date, occurring approximately 29 days after the San Castrese variety, and is characterized by late blooming. The tree has high vigor, good branching, and a semi-upright crown shape.

The fruits are distinguished by their large size, round shape, and bicolored appearance: there is a red blush on an intense orange background. The fruit flesh is firm and possesses high taste qualities.

The plant is self-fertile and possesses genetic resistance to Plum pox virus. The variety is intended for intensive horticulture and the production of commercial produce.
