The variety belongs to the group of winter-hardy varieties. Studies confirm the good resistance of its flower buds to low winter temperatures compared to many other varieties cultivated in Hungary.
In scientific publications, the variety is considered as an object of study in experiments on susceptibility to Verticillium dahliae and pathologies causing apoplexy of trees. In literature, the variety is often mentioned in comparative tables of ecological and biological indicators.
