The variety was bred in the USA by crossing «Moongold» and «NJA 20» and refined at the Research and Breeding Institute of Pomology in Holovousy, Czech Republic. The trees are characterized by a compact crown with shortened internodes and require minimal pruning, except for rejuvenation at middle age.
The fruits belong to the semi-early group and possess good taste qualities, with the stone separating well from the flesh. It is recommended to use the harvest for processing. Moderately warm areas are preferred for cultivation; in cooler regions, the variety should be planted in protected sites.
