The Krajová Raná variety appears in scientific publications dedicated to studying the resistance of stone fruit crops to Plum pox virus (PPV). Experiments have established that this variety exhibits relative resistance to infection with this virus via aphids.

Studies have revealed compatibility issues between this variety and certain rootstocks. It is noted that trees die when Myrobalan clone PK is used as a rootstock, which is attributed to the poor affinity of this combination.
