Fruits ripen in the second half of June to early July, with an average weight of 70–140 g. The skin is straw-yellow with a golden hue and a red blush; the flesh is light yellow, juicy, and sweet-and-sour.

Trees are distinguished by an upright crown and pronounced vigor. The variety is valued for its low maintenance requirements and the resistance of its flower buds to low temperatures.

Used primarily as a table variety for fresh consumption. Given that the variety name is descriptive, local clones may be encountered under this name in different regions.
