Variety EA 5016 is characterized by medium to strong growth vigor, with a semi-upright to spreading crown. The ripening period occurs at the end of May or the first half of June. It is a self-incompatible variety requiring the presence of pollinators blooming in a similar period.

The fruits have a round-elliptical shape and an orange color with a red blush. The flesh is firm, juicy, with a sugar content of 12–14° Brix. The tree has medium susceptibility of flower buds to winter frosts.

The fruits are characterized by high transportability, however, with excessive nitrogen nutrition or overwatering, they are prone to cracking in the suture area. The variety is suitable for commercial cultivation and amateur gardening.
