The Pac 941 rootstock is intended for grafting peach, nectarine, Japanese plum, almond, and apricot. Trees on this rootstock have a growth vigor comparable to Marianna 2624 and are characterized by high productivity. In the nursery state, the plants are vigorous with a slightly weeping crown shape.
The plant possesses resistance to root-knot nematodes and adaptation to heavy, poor, waterlogged soils, as well as high lime content. The root system is well developed, which allows the rootstock to be used in areas with low survival rates of other crops. The variety is sterile, the flowers do not produce fruit, and propagation is carried out mainly by in vitro tissue culture.
