The rootstock is a hybrid of cherry plum and peach. It is characterized by vigorous growth and a robust root system, providing good tree anchorage without the need for support stakes. The rootstock demonstrates high drought tolerance and adaptability to waterlogged, heavy, and calcareous soils.

The plant possesses high resistance to crown gall, nematodes, chlorosis, and cytosporosis. The root system withstands temperature drops down to –8…–10 °C. The rootstock propagates well by green cuttings and layering, and does not produce root suckers.

It is compatible with most varieties of peach, almond, cherry plum, and plum, but has incompatibility with certain varieties of European plum, including Kubanskaya rannyaya, Sinyaya ptitsa, and Ballada. The use of this rootstock promotes earlier onset of fruit bearing in grafted trees.
