Mirared is a clonal rootstock obtained through interspecific hybridization of myrobalan plum and the peach variety Nemared. Trees on this rootstock have a growth vigor approximately 10% lower than those on GF 677. Morphologically, the rootstock is distinguished by elongated elliptical leaves with a reddish tint.
The plant exhibits high resistance to nematode infestation and tolerance to the pathogen Armillaria mellea. Studies confirm a high degree of compatibility of the rootstock with a wide range of apricot varieties, exceeding 90% of the studied variants.
The right is granted for a limited term: propagation of the variety requires a license from the rights holder.
