The variety ripens about a week to ten days earlier than the Victoria variety. The fruits have an oval shape and a pinkish-red color, often with characteristic white specks. The flesh is firm; the fruits are sweet and juicy in taste.
The plant is self-fertile. The variety was used primarily as a garden crop and did not receive wide distribution in commercial horticulture.
