The tree is vigorous, reaching 5 meters in height, with a pyramidal, sparse crown and upright branches. Shoots are erect or slightly curved, brownish-green in color, and densely pubescent. The plant enters the fruiting stage 3–4 years after planting, demonstrating good annual yields.

Fruits are round-oval in shape, weighing 33–40 g. Skin color is dark purple, almost black, with a blue waxy bloom. The flesh is light green, firm, cartilaginous, and has a sweet-and-sour taste. The fruits are transportable and do not drop upon ripening.

The variety is partially self-fertile. It possesses high winter hardiness of the wood and vegetative parts, withstanding frosts down to -33 °C.
