The variety is an evergreen shrub 2.5–3 meters high with a crown width of 1.5–2 meters. It has an upright silhouette with flexible, slightly arching branches. Young shoots are red-colored, and leaves at different growth stages vary from bronze-orange to dark green with red petioles.
Flowering occurs in May–June with white fragrant racemes. Fruiting is rare, fruits are black, oval-shaped. The variety possesses winter hardiness down to -20°C and is characterized by general resistance to diseases.
