Stat Exp South Haven (US)
10 August 2026
The variety is classified as early-maturing, with a period from full bloom to harvest of approximately 86 days. The tree is medium-sized, reaching 3–4 meters in height and width. The fruits are medium to large in size, often round in shape, and are characterized by low keeping quality, which limits transportability.
The skin color varies from beetroot-purple with greenish spots to yellow with a carmine-red blush. The flesh is juicy, soft, and aromatic, and can be yellow or greenish-white in color. The stone separates well from the flesh. Modern variations are characterized by frost resistance down to -20°C.
