Red Haven
ActivePrunus persica (L.) Batsch · Peach
Stat Exp South Haven (US)
10 August 2026
The tree has a narrow, upright shape with short lateral shoots, reaching a height of 1.5 to 3 meters with a crown width of 50–70 cm. Flowering is late, which reduces the risk of flower damage from spring frosts. Due to the columnar shape and high yield, load control on the branches may be required.
Fruits of mid-early to mid-season maturity weighing 180–240 g have smooth skin, yellow color with a red blush, and a freestone pit. The flesh is yellow, juicy, and firm. The variety is characterized by high winter hardiness, self-fertility, and resistance to a number of fungal diseases, including moniliosis and powdery mildew.
