The variety is native to the Apulia region, Italy. The fruits have a round, slightly asymmetrical shape and an average weight of 40–60 g. The skin is pubescent, yellow in color with a diffused light-red blush.
The fruit flesh is white, the medium-sized pit separates freely from the flesh. Fruits at the full maturity stage possess moderate flavor and aroma qualities. The variety belongs to the rare category and is preserved as part of biodiversity, having no industrial significance.
