The Bachata tree has normal vigor and forms a semi-open canopy. The plant is self-fertile and requires an accumulation of 450–500 chill hours to break dormancy.
The fruits are flat in shape with an intensely red skin color. The white flesh is characterized by a sweet, subacid flavor. The fruit is of medium caliber (A/AA) and is distinguished by high firmness and resistance to cracking.
