B-VA-3 belongs to a series of rootstocks bred in the town of Valtice and is not a peach variety intended for fruit production. It is a seed-propagated rootstock used as a base for grafting other peach varieties.
The object is characterized by vigorous growth and high sensitivity to high lime content in the soil. The best results when using the rootstock are achieved in warm climatic conditions and on light, permeable soils.
