The variety ripens in late August. Fruits have a round shape, medium or large size, and yellow-green skin with a bright red blush. The flesh is white and juicy; the pit separates well from it.
The tree is vigorous, self-fertile, and does not require cross-pollination. A distinctive feature of the variety is high resistance to peach leaf curl, due to a mechanism of cell hypersensitivity at the site of infection.
The variety is used for fresh consumption, culinary purposes, and processing, and is also actively used in breeding as a donor of disease resistance genes. In the early fruit development phase, the variety may show increased sensitivity to frost.
