The variety was obtained by crossing the Admiral Dewey, St. John, and Southhaven varieties. The tree is vigorous, productive, and requires about 950 hours of winter chilling for normal development.
Fruits are medium-sized, round in shape, with bright yellow skin and a light blush. The flesh is light yellow; the variety belongs to the freestone group. The ripening period is close to the Redhaven variety.
Scientific literature notes high resistance to leaf curl. The variety is intended for commercial horticulture; the fruits are suitable for fresh consumption and industrial processing.
