The Ferradine variety tree reaches a height of 3.0 to 5.0 meters and has a moderately dense crown. The variety is self-fertile, which allows it to fruit successfully without cross-pollination. The fruits are characterized by delicate and aromatic flesh.
The plant possesses high frost resistance, withstanding temperature drops down to -15...-20°C, although flowers may be sensitive to late spring frosts. The variety shows good resistance to major diseases, including peach leaf curl, and is adapted to various soil types provided there is good drainage.
