The variety serves as a parent form for breeding other hybrids; in particular, it was involved in the development of the Favorita Morettini variety through crossing with Gialla di Firenze.
The plant appears in lists of collection accessions and international studies of peach genetic diversity. In publications, the variety is mentioned in the context of studying adaptation to soil and climatic conditions and resistance to leaf curl, however, detailed morphological characteristics of the fruit and tree are absent.
