The Francoise variety is a brightly colored mutation of the Springcrest variety. The plant is characterized by vigorous growth and forms a semi-upright crown. The variety has high and regular yield, although crop thinning is required to maintain large fruit size.
The fruits are large, weighing 160–170 g, sometimes up to 200 g, and have a round or slightly flattened shape. The ground color of the skin is yellow, with the surface 80–90% covered by a red or carmine blush. The flesh is yellow, firm, aromatic, with a stone that clings to the flesh.
The variety belongs to the ultra-early category; fruit ripening occurs at the end of June. The plant is frost-hardy and disease-resistant. The fruits are distinguished by good transportability and are intended mainly for fresh consumption.
