ActivePrunus persica (L.) Batsch · Peach
Stat Exp South Haven (US)
10 August 2026
The tree has moderate vigor and forms a spreading crown, consistently producing good yields. The fruit ripening period falls at the end of July or the beginning of August, which is approximately 10 days before the variety «Babygold 5».
The fruits are medium to large in size, round in shape, and have pubescent skin. The orange-yellow flesh has a mildly acidic taste. The variety demonstrates moderate resistance to Cytospora canker and bacterial spot.
For scientific purposes, the variety is used as a source of genetic material for breeding, which is due to the high content of free amino acids in the fruit.
