Red Haven
ActivePrunus persica (L.) Batsch · Peach
Stat Exp South Haven (US)
10 August 2026
The variety was obtained by crossing Maybelle and Stark Saturn. The fruits have a flattened symmetrical shape typical of Saturn peach varieties. The skin is light-colored with a red blush on 60–80% of the surface. The white flesh with red veins is distinguished by juiciness, firmness, and a dessert taste; the stone separates well.
The plant is self-fertile and high-yielding. It possesses high winter hardiness (down to -24…-27 °C) and increased resistance to powdery mildew and leaf curl. The variety is suitable for both amateur and commercial cultivation due to its high transportability characteristics.
