The variety was obtained as a result of open pollination of the 'Velvet' variety. The tree is characterized by medium vigor and medium crown density. On seedling rootstocks, fruiting begins 1–2 years after planting; the variety is distinguished by high yield.
The plant has high winter hardiness and resistance to peach leaf curl. The variety is recommended for cultivation in the Steppe and Forest-Steppe zones of Ukraine.
