The variety was obtained as a result of the Texas A&M University breeding program through self-pollination of the TX4C188LWN selection. The trees require approximately 500 chilling hours to break dormancy and demonstrate high productivity in temperate climate regions.
The medium to large-sized fruits are characterized by white flesh with a soluble solids content of 10–15 °Brix. They are resistant to cracking and split pits, as well as flesh browning. The variety is intended for commercial cultivation in zones with medium chilling requirements.
