Red Haven
ActivePrunus persica (L.) Batsch · Peach
Stat Exp South Haven (US)
10 August 2026
The tree of this variety is medium-sized and forms a compact crown. Fruits reach a mass of 130 to 200 grams, have an oval or oval-elliptical shape and dark red skin color. The flesh is distinguished by juiciness, aroma, and a sweet taste; the stone separates well.
Harvest maturity occurs in the period from the end of July to the first ten days of August. The variety possesses good winter hardiness and resistance to major diseases, however, it requires preventive measures against leaf curl. The fruits retain their marketable appearance during transportation and can be stored for about a week.
