The variety belongs to the very early group; fruit ripening in warm climate conditions begins in late April to early May. The tree grows vigorously, is self-fertile, and is distinguished by regular bearing and high productivity. The winter chilling requirement is about 200 hours, which triggers early flowering.
Fruits are of medium size, about 6–7 cm in diameter, and have intense skin coloration. The flesh is white, firm, and of the Clingstone type (firmly attached to the pit). The flavor is balanced with moderate acidity. Due to early flowering, the variety is at risk of flower damage from late spring frosts.
