The variety is a Hauss × Phillips hybrid and was originally intended for industrial canning. The fruits have a non-separating stone, attractive appearance and good flavor qualities. The fruit ripening period coincides with the ripening periods of the Phillips variety.
The plant demonstrates productivity when introduced in regions with hot and dry climates. Today, the variety is mainly used as breeding material or a component of genetic collections.
