The tree of the variety is medium-sized, reaching a height of up to 3 meters, and has a moderately spreading crown. The fruit ripening period is medium, occurring approximately one week after the Redhaven variety or in late July to early August.
The fruits are round in shape, yellow in color with a dark red blush. The flesh is yellow, juicy, and aromatic; the stone separates well from the flesh. The fruits are suitable for fresh consumption and processing, and are characterized by good transportability.
The variety has high winter hardiness of flower buds. The original description indicates susceptibility to bacterial spot, however, it notes tolerance to Cytospora canker, and in a number of sources the variety is characterized as resistant to leaf curl and powdery mildew.
