The Stark Sun Glo tree reaches a height of 3.5 meters and has a spreading crown of spherical or round-pyramidal shape. The variety begins fruiting 2–5 years after planting and is characterized by high yield. The plant exhibits good winter hardiness and resistance to diseases, including relative resistance to moniliosis.
The nectarine fruits are large, weighing 150–200 g, and have a round or round-oval shape. The skin is yellow with a pronounced burgundy-crimson blush. The yellow flesh of the fruit is juicy, fibrous, and of medium density; the pit separates well from the flesh. The fruits have a sweet taste with a slight acidity and a strong aroma.
