The variety is traditional for the Florence region and is not a product of modern breeding. The fruits are medium-sized and have creamy-red skin. The ripening period falls approximately on September 10.
The fruit flesh is white, with good taste qualities, and the pit is easily separated. The variety shows resistance to peach leaf curl and is recognized as a valuable agrobiodiversity resource, preserved in regional collections in Italy.
