Variety description

10 August 2026

The variety is a natural bud mutation of the Late Santa Rosa variety. The fruits have an oval shape, purple-red skin with a waxy bloom and yellowish speckles. The flesh is colored dark amber, characterized by juiciness and a rich sweet-and-sour taste. The variety is intended primarily for fresh consumption.

Fruit ripening occurs in early August, approximately from the 1st to the 10th. The variety is self-fertile and serves well as a pollinator for other plums. It requires about 500 hours of winter chilling for normal development. The winter hardiness of the variety corresponds to USDA zones 5 and above; high overall productivity is noted.
