Variety description

10 August 2026

The Pioneer tree is characterized by vigorous growth and a semi-erect canopy. The variety is self-compatible, however, it shows incompatibility with Maridon and Marianna rootstocks. The plant possesses resistance to bacterial spot.

Fruits have an average weight of 75–85 grams and a round shape. The skin is bright red; the flesh is light yellow, juicy, and melting. The variety is of the clingstone type, the pit separates poorly from the flesh. The fruits are distinguished by good keeping quality, which allows them to be transported over long distances.
