The variety belongs to the early mid-season maturity group; the harvest period falls on late June – July. The fruits are large, covered with blue-black skin with a purple hue, and have firm light-yellow flesh.
The tree has medium to above-medium vigor and a spreading crown; it begins bearing fruit in the third year. The variety is characterized by good frost resistance (down to –22…–25 °C) and drought tolerance.
The variety is partially self-fertile. To obtain a stable yield, cross-pollination with other Chinese plum varieties having similar flowering periods is recommended.
