The variety is a hybrid cherry plum obtained by crossing the Chinese plum variety Burbank and the cherry plum variety Tavricheskaya. The tree is of medium height with a sparse, spreading, flat-round crown, reaching 3 meters in height by 10 years of age.

Fruits are of an early ripening period, average weight is about 58 grams. The flesh is firm; fruits are suitable for fresh consumption and canning, characterized by good transportability.

The variety is self-sterile and requires cross-pollination with other cherry plum or Chinese plum varieties. It is characterized by high resistance to black cancer, and moderate resistance to bacterial spot and moniliosis.
