The tree is of medium growth, reaching 3–5 meters in height, forms a dense crown, prone to thickening. It enters the bearing stage 2-3 years after planting and bears fruit regularly. The variety is self-sterile or partially self-sterile; other Japanese plum varieties or cherry plum are required for pollination.
Fruit ripening occurs from the end of July to the first ten days of August. The fruits have a heart-shaped or round-elongated shape, skin of medium thickness with a waxy bloom, and yellow flesh with a sweet and sour taste. The variety is characterized by high winter hardiness of trees and flower buds.
To maintain optimal fruit size during an abundant harvest, thinning of ovaries is recommended. The variety is suitable for commercial and amateur gardening; the fruits are suitable for fresh consumption and processing.
